Black Bonded Leather Zero Gravity Perfect Chair Recliner Zero Gravity Perfect Chair Recliner Review by David Hazard "uschazard" (socal)
I have had my Perfect Chair for eleven years and I sit in it daily for extended periods.
I have the Tempur Pad in Black Leather and I have the manual recliner. There is no finer chair in the world regardless of price. It is comfortable in every sitting position. I am 6'3" inches tall and weigh in excess of 260 lbs and I have had three back operations so I am a "worst case" tester. This is a flawless product. I did have to replace the cable that controls the recline function after four years of use at a cost of $35 and I did have to install it myself. And the same cable is almost due for another replacement after seven additional years of heavy use.
I am a very hard to please customer for every product I buy and I have absolutely NO complaints as I consider the cable to be a "wear item". This chair replaced a similarly priced over-sized Lazy-Boy recliner which was a piece of JUNK. I will NOT buy another Lazy-Boy product as the foam in the lower back area of that product was completely collapsed after eighteen months of use and the Lazy-Boy factory outlet said "Sorry, out of warranty" so I gave the Lousy-Boy to my favorite charity and replaced it with the flawless PERFECT CHAIR Which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Black Bonded Leather Zero Gravity Perfect Chair Recliner Zero Gravity Perfect Chair Recliner Review by Joseph (Brookport, IL United States)
I've owned one of these for two yrs. now. It is not a chair. It is a chaise lounge. It's a very good chaise lounge but if you want to use it as a chair then you will be disappointed. All the things you can do in a chair, you cannot do in this "lounge".
First off, you cannot sit upright in it because its shape is locked in place whether it is upright or reclining. The only reason it should be in an upright position is when one is getting in or out of it, and even then doing so is difficult because the "footrest", being locked in one position, cannot be lowered to facilitate getting in and out. In other words, the footrest juts out when the whole thing is upright. For that reason it is not easy for the elderly.
Moreover, if you try to sit in it without moving it to a reclining position, you tend to slide out of it because of the locked, downward angle of the seat when upright. It is designed to recline not sit. It is very comfortable when in the reclining position but don't expect to be able to read, watch TV or eat because the angle of recline is not conducive to any of those activities. For instance, when in the reclined position, you have to raise your head to read or watch TV, even with the head rest that accompanies it. You cannot hold your head up from the reclining position for any length of time without pain.
Furthermore, it is very large and thus takes up an inordinate amount of space in any room. And regarding the "Zero Gravity" aspect, that's true. However, you have to recline in one position (can't turn on your side) for long periods of inactivity before Zero Gravity can be appreciated. And because you can only lie in it in one position it is not made to sleep in without soreness.
This "Perfect Chaise Lounge" is well made, durable but at this point, largely unused. I've since bought a real chair for over half the price and moved the "Perfect Chaise Lounge" to another room where it is seldom used. I tried selling it on Craig's List among other outlets but to no avail.

Human Touch Perfect Chair with Electric Recline and Folding Footrest - Red Bonded PC-085-100-010This is just an addendum to the reviews claiming no moving parts and therefore no worries about warranty. Love my chair, but it was apparently one of the last manual ones before they went to electric. The aluminum lever which releases the brake and allows reclining has just broken at its poorly-designed, weakest spot. I contacted Human Touch and they say that parts are no longer available. So, unless I can fabricate a substitute release lever, my chair investment has become worthless. I haven't examined the electric version of the chair, but I have to believe it has greater complexity than the manual version and has more potential to someday malfunction.
I loved the chair for comfort, but beware of potential problems.
